The Maximum Protection Running socks are race proven to help prevent blisters during marathons and ultra-long distance runs. Additionally, they are great for runners who are prone to getting blisters. Many runners have switched from wicking fiber socks to wearing Max Pro Running socks. Maximum Protection Running socks are designed for both hot, dry, and severe wet conditions to help prevent foot blisters during trail marathons and ultra-long distance trail runs. Max Pro Running socks are a Medium+ Density protective padded sock. They were designed for use in cool to hot conditions to keep feet drier, cooler, and more comfortable.
Blister Prevention System
This system incorporates PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers along with Drymax fibers in the entire foot area of the sock. The top mesh air panels release heat and sweat vapors helping keep feet cooler and drier.
PTFE has the lowest Coefficient of Friction of any fiber, making it the best at keeping friction low between the skin and sock.
Low friction allows Max Pro socks to stay cooler and drier, reducing the chances of hot spots & blisters.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine Wash warm with like colors. To whiten socks, use bleach alternatives. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron.
Do not use fabric softeners; they leave a residual coating on fibers and fabrics, preventing them from performing as designed. To remove fabric softeners, simply launder with detergent and rinse.
Do not use Chlorine Bleach.
Do not use skin lubricants.

This sock is designed for outdoor extreme extended use to protect the user's health and safety in very wet conditions. It is not designed for general consumer use and is made with PFAS chemicals.
Why our ePTFE is Safe:
- Inertness and size: PTFE is a high molecular weight, solid, and chemically inert polymer. It does not degrade into smaller, more mobile PFAS under normal conditions and is not water-soluble.
- Non-bioavailability: Due to its size and inertness, PTFE is not bioavailable. It does not accumulate in the body or interact with cells, and it is not easily absorbed. This distinguishes it from smaller, more mobile PFAS that pose greater health and environmental concerns.
- Low concern for toxicity: Scientific and regulatory bodies, including the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), have classified fluoropolymers like PTFE as "polymers of low concern" because their properties make them low-risk to human health and the environment.
